Best in Beauty 2018: 10 Products I Use Every Day

I’ve been using this foundation for about a year now and I absolutely LOVE it. I have quite pale skin, so finding a foundation to match can be a little tricky (I often find the lightest colour in a range is still too dark for me) but this product in “Alabaster” works really well. It’s honestly such lovely quality, and gives my skin a dewy look without crossing over into sweaty territory (am I the only one paranoid about this??). It’s also SPF 15, which is super important to me (and my pale skin), but my faaaaavourite thing about this product is that you can easily touch it up when you need to: it blends as easily at the end of the day as when you first applied it.

Sometimes it feels like I’ve tried every mascara on the market in search of the perfect one, aaaaand I think this might be it. It gives my lashes serious volume, making them look (and feel) so much heavier. It’s also super dark, which I love, and easily outperforms other mascaras I’ve tried that were twice the price. The only drawback for me is that it leaves a little dust under my eyes every now and then.. But as hard as I’ve tried, I just can’t find anything to beat it.

I’m not particularly adventurous when it comes to eyeshadow: I prefer quite a simple, naturally bright look, so this nude palette has really been perfect for me. I’ve been using it since it first came out, and I have zero complaints. It has all the colour options I need and lasts all day without crinkling or dropping dust, which is pretty much everything on my eyeshadow wishlist (I’m basic, I know).

I discovered this highlight chubby early last year and I’ve been having nightmares about it being discontinued ever since: I seriously can’t imagine life without it. 🙈 I don’t do a great deal of contouring, but this has to be the easiest way to highlight EVER. I apply it straight to my skin (in all the right places), and blend it with my finger: it takes 30 seconds and lasts aaaaall day. I cannot recommend this enough!!

I recently purchased this lip mask after reading approximately one gazillion rave reviews online. I’ve been wearing it (in natural) overnight and it’s made such a big difference already! My lips are pretty much always dry (I really need to drink more water) and I don’t always like to wear something on them during the day, so I was looking for a way to keep them healthy and hydrated without needing to apply lip balm all day long. It’s honestly the longest lasting lip product I’ve ever tried – I can still feel it when I wake up in the middle of the night. It also comes in a couple of different tints for daytime wear, which I think I might try next.

I’ve been using this hair treatment every day for about two years now, and I don’t think I could ever go without it again.. It actually does all the things it says it does (which is a lot). I really like having just one product to use after a shower that gives me everything I need aaaaand probably a lot more. 😅 I recommend this to my friends and family every chance I get, it’s seriously the best thing I’ve ever done for my hair!!

This is another new purchase! I’m a huge fan of Clinique’s chubby sticks (I find them so lovely to use), so I’ve just bought this one in Amp’d Up Apple. This range is technically a cheek contour, but so far I’ve just been using it on my lips. I looooove how soft it is and that you can apply it without needing a mirror (a huge plus for me). I’m also really enjoying the colour – it’s super natural, and one that I actually think would work well on my cheeks too. So yes, an instant staple for me!

Hmm, can you tell I love Clinique?? This concealer is seriously amazing! It gives great coverage (like, GREAT coverage) but also manages to stay nice and dewy so my foundation can just glide on over the top without any problems. The only downside is it’s a little pricey for the amount you get – it does not last long, buuuuut it is beautiful.

I personally find it easiest to shape and fill my brows with a pencil (although I do use a light crayon and a clear mascara over the top), and this one is my fave. It’s a really good price, has a really natural range of colours, and doesn’t rub off during the day. That last one is a biggie for me – I don’t know about you, but I reeeeeally try to avoid leaving my eyebrows behind. 😅

I’ve been using an anti-wrinkle day cream since I turned 18 (because why not), and this one has been my go-to for the last few years: I apply it every morning to my face, neck, and arms. It’s so lovely and light and somehow moisturises without making my skin oily (which is basically a miracle for me). It’s anti-wrinkle / skin firming (let’s be honest, I am nearing 30) and provides GREAT sun protection, which is a huge plus. It’s also a super reasonable price and honestly lasts me so long (around 6 months).
